Triple Impact: Our Tiered Environmental Commitment

At Eleven Oasis, we’ve always believed that looking good and doing good should go hand in hand. What began as a tree-planting initiative in April 2025 has grown into a tiered impact program that rewards every order with measurable environmental action through our partnership with Greenspark.

Tiered Impact: How Your Order Makes a Difference

Every purchase contributes to positive global change — the higher your order value, the greater the impact you create.

  • $60–$99: Plants 1 mangrove tree in Mombasa, Kenya

  • $100–$119: Plants 1 tree + rescues 5 pieces of ocean-bound plastic

  • $120+: Plants 1 tree + rescues 5 pieces of plastic + offsets 10kg of CO₂

This tiered approach allows every customer to play a role in tackling deforestation, ocean pollution, and carbon emissions — turning each purchase into a force for good.

Fighting Climate Change: Mangrove Restoration in Kenya

Our partnership with Greenspark and EarthLung plants mangrove trees in the coastal forests of Mteza Creek near Mombasa, Kenya. These environmental superstars capture carbon at rates up to 4 times higher than tropical rainforests while:
  • Protecting coastlines from erosion and storm surges
  • Creating habitats for endangered wildlife including the African Bush Elephant
  • Supporting local fisheries that coastal communities depend on
  • Generating employment (every 10,000 trees planted creates 20 workdays for community members)

With thousands of trees planted and growing every day, we're building a lasting legacy of environmental restoration and community support.

Stopping Ocean Pollution: Plastic Bank Partnership

Ocean plastic pollution threatens marine life and ecosystems worldwide. The UN estimates that 8 million tonnes of plastic waste enter waterways annually, and by 2050, there could be more plastic in our oceans than fish.
Through our partnership with Plastic Bank, every order rescues 5 pieces of ocean-bound plastic while creating positive economic opportunities for coastal communities.

How It Works:

  1. Collect: Local collectors gather ocean-bound plastic waste
  2. Reward: Collectors receive premiums supporting their families
  3. Recycle: Waste becomes "Social Plastic" pellets for reuse
  4. Reintegrate: Companies use recycled pellets in new products
  5. Reduce: Fewer new plastics created, less waste reaches oceans

The Impact:

Plastic Bank operates across Haiti, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cameroon, and Egypt, supporting over 5,000 collectors while advancing 14 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Reducing Emissions: Clean Cookstoves in Malawi

Many households in Malawi rely on traditional three-stone cooking fires, leading to deforestation, harmful smoke exposure, and high fuel consumption. Our CO2 offset program, registered under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), supports the transition to energy-efficient "Changu Changu Moto" cookstoves.

The Benefits:

  • Environmental: Each stove saves 2.5 tonnes of carbon annually and reduces wood use by 100 bundles
  • Health: Cuts harmful smoke exposure, reducing lung disease and childhood pneumonia
  • Social: Women save 10 hours per week collecting firewood, creating time for education and economic opportunities
  • Economic: Families save money on fuel while investing in community development

With 40,000 cookstoves already benefiting 200,000 people in Malawi's Nkhata Bay District, this UNFCCC-registered program demonstrates how environmental action creates ripple effects of positive change.

Verified Impact You Can Trust

All our environmental initiatives use cutting-edge verification technology through our trusted partners:
  • Mangrove restoration: EarthLung uses soil sensors, bioacoustic monitoring, and weather stations to track precise impact
  • Plastic rescue: Plastic Bank employs IBM blockchain technology for secure transactions and real-time tracking
  • CO2 offset: Programs registered under the UN Clean Development Mechanism provide verified emission reductions

When we say “triple impact,” we mean verified, measurable change.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Every Eleven Oasis design is more than just a shirt; it’s a symbol of style with purpose. Together, we’re restoring forests, cleaning oceans, and supporting sustainable development one order at a time.

The more you shop, the bigger the impact.
Because great style should always leave the world better than we found it.
